Meet Noel – Our New Sales Team Member for Latin America

But enough about the CV. We wanted to get to know the person behind the experience. So, we asked Noel a few questions:

You have worked in several countries and cultures. What has been the biggest lesson you've learned from doing business internationally?
"My biggest lesson has been the importance of flexibility and adaptation. There is no single, universal solution that fits the diverse challenges and contexts of so many different countries. It is a lesson that I carry with me not only in business, but also in my personal life."

After more than 30 years in the electrical industry, what still motivates and excites you about this field?
"It might sound curious, but I am motivated by the feeling of belonging to a family—the 'electrical safety' family. I have 30 years of friendships with many clients, partners, and providers, and we all share the same social mission: to save lives and improve safety conditions in this field. This objective is endless and constantly renews itself."

You speak four languages and have lived in France, Chile, Mexico, and Brazil. Is there one experience that has shaped you the most?
"Without a doubt, it was my first experience in Mexico. I was 20 years old; it was my first time traveling to another continent, surrounded by a new language, a new culture, and so many new challenges to navigate. I was one person before that experience, and I became someone else afterward—it was a total transformation. My life was never the same again."

What made you decide to join the BOGUMA team, and what are you looking forward to the most?
"I had heard excellent references about BOGUMA, especially regarding its optimized cost-benefit ratio. Furthermore, I immediately felt welcomed by the team during our business interactions. They were quick, professional, easy to communicate with, and always focused on finding consensus to solve problems efficiently. I feel very proud and grateful to be part of the company's history, and I look forward to growing together."

What is your role at BOGUMA, and what will you be focusing on?
"BOGUMA has entrusted me with leading our business in Latin America. My primary focus is to ensure our brand has a strong presence in every country across the continent."
